Join our dynamic team as a Payroll / Data Entry Clerk and become a vital part of our finance and HR operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, managing data entry tasks, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and financial regulations. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will help streamline payroll systems and support our organization’s financial integrity. Duties

Enter and verify payroll data using various payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, and other related platforms

Ensure accurate processing of employee hours, wages, deductions, taxes, and benefits in compliance with employment and labor laws

Reconcile payroll accounts and perform general ledger entries related to payroll transactions

Maintain confidential employee information with integrity and adhere to data protection standards

Assist with tax law compliance by preparing payroll tax filings and ensuring proper withholding procedures

Support payroll system updates and troubleshoot technical issues related to payroll processing

Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate recordkeeping using HRIS systems and accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
Skills

Proficiency in payroll systems including Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, and other relevant platforms

Strong understanding of employment law, labor law compliance, and payroll tax regulations

Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation

Skilled in data entry with high accuracy using 10 key typing and spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Knowledge of time & attendance systems and payroll management processes within corporate or governmental accounting environments

Ability to analyze financial data for discrepancies or errors; perform account reconciliation effectively

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
