The Junior Data Analyst supports the collection, cleaning, analysis, and reporting of business performance data across fast-paced human services program(s). Reporting to the Senior Business Performance Analyst, this role assists in building dashboards, compiling routine reports, and maintaining data accuracy to support KPIs and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, early-career analyst who is eager to learn, thrives in a rapid-response environment, brings foundational analytical and communication skills, and can support senior analysts on performance and reporting initiatives.

Collect, compile, and maintain data used to track KPIs and performance metrics across programs

Assist with performance analyses and help identify trends, patterns, and data anomalies for review by senior analysts

Build and maintain dashboards, charts, and routine reports to support real-time and operational decision-making

Support Finance and program teams by preparing data extracts and summaries for cost, forecasting, and variance reviews

Help document intake, case management, and service coordination workflows and flag potential gaps or inefficiencies

Contribute suggestions for report, SOP, and data process improvements to senior staff

Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing accurate, timely data to cross-functional teams
-
Help ensure data and reports adhere to applicable federal, state, and programmatic standards related to care and custody services

Perform data quality checks and ensure documentation meets audit and reporting standards
-
Track corrective actions for identified data issues or deficiencies and support their timely resolution Collaborate with program teams, operations staff, and technical stakeholders

Prepare and present clear data summaries and reports to senior analysts and program teams

Communicate and coordinate with distributed teams in a remote environment Follow analytical best practices and standards while developing technical skills

Participate in training, onboarding, and professional development opportunities to grow analytical expertise

Assist with data pulls, ad hoc reports, and analysis in support of urgent operational needs

Provide timely reporting support during critical or high-volume periods

Maintain flexibility to adapt to evolving program demands and priorities
Required Qualifications & Core Competencies:
-
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Services, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience);
-
0–2 years of experience in a data analyst, reporting, or similar analytical role, including internships, coursework, or academic projects
-
Demonstrated ability to work with data accurately and support reporting tasks (e.g., through coursework, internships, or prior roles)

Interest in supporting high-volume, time-sensitive operations with strict reporting requirements Working knowledge of or willingness to learn:
o Data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar); familiarity with SQL, R, or Python is a plus
o Reporting or performance management platforms (Smartsheet, Workday Adaptive, or similar)
o Basic process documentation and reporting standards Clear written and visual communication of data
o Ability to manage multiple priorities with fast turnaround expectations
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fully remote environment
o Discretion when working with sensitive or confidential information

Anovaeon operates 24 hours/365 days a year and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

Must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.
