Grandview is seeking an organized, proactive, and approachable Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is committed to creating a welcoming and professional school environment while providing dependable administrative support to students, families, staff, and school leadership. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school setting. This individual should possess strong communication and customer-service skills, demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality, and be comfortable responding to the day-to-day needs of a busy school office. Essential Responsibilities

Serve as the primary front office contact for students, families, and visitors

Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries

Support student enrollment, scheduling, and transcripts

Maintain student records and data systems (e.g., Skyward)

Coordinate attendance tracking and reporting

Support school communications, events, and calendar management

Handle cash, deposits, and purchasing processes

Assist with student health needs, including basic first aid (training provided)

Translate written and verbal communication (English/Spanish)

Collaborate with school leadership and staff to ensure smooth operations
Schedule & Benefits

Status: Full-time- 12 Month Position
-
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Time Off: Includes 12 paid holidays, sick days, and vacation days.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (required)

College coursework in business or a related field (preferred)

Minimum 3 years of administrative/secretarial experience (school setting preferred)

Fluent in English and Spanish (required)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

Experience with office technology and systems

Experience with Skyward or similar student information systems
Special Requirements

Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance

Ability to travel locally if needed

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
