Data Engineer / DevOps Engineer – Entry Level
Austin, Texas | Aurionpro Fintech Inc.
Build. Automate. Learn. Make an Impact.
Welcome to Aurionpro Fintech Inc.
At Aurionpro Fintech Inc., we believe great technology is built by people who are curious, creative, and excited to solve meaningful problems.
Based in Austin, Texas, we are part of the evolving fintech landscape, bringing together technology, data, automation, and innovation to help build smarter and more scalable solutions for the financial services industry.
We’re looking for an Entry-Level Data Engineer / DevOps Engineer who is ready to roll up their sleeves, learn new technologies, and grow with a talented engineering team.
You don’t need to know everything. What matters most is that you’re curious, analytical, eager to learn, and excited about technology. If you enjoy working with data, writing code, automating processes, exploring the cloud, and figuring out how systems work together, you’ll feel right at home here.
The Opportunity
As an Entry-Level Data Engineer / DevOps Engineer, you’ll help build, automate, and monitor reliable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, software development, cloud infrastructure, and systems operations, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad and valuable technical foundation early in your career.
You’ll work with technologies such as Python, SQL, Linux, Docker, Git, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Apache Airflow, while gaining hands-on experience solving real-world engineering challenges.
What You’ll Do
Build & Support Data Pipelines
Build and support Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows using Python, SQL, and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
Help develop and maintain reliable data pipelines and workflows.
Support data ingestion, transformation, and movement across systems.
Troubleshoot pipeline issues and help improve reliability and performance.
Support Cloud Infrastructure
Assist in maintaining cloud resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Help create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, automation, and scalable environments.
CI/CD & Deployment
Help manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Work with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
Support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
Help improve the efficiency and reliability of software and data deployments.
Containers & Modern Deployment
Use Docker to package and deploy data applications.
Work with basic Kubernetes concepts to support application and data-workload deployments.
Learn how modern applications are packaged, deployed, and managed in cloud environments.
Monitor, Troubleshoot & Improve
Monitor system and data-pipeline performance.
Review logs, identify errors, and troubleshoot deployment or data-ingestion issues.
Help maintain reliable, efficient, and resilient systems.
Work with the team to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.
Equivalent practical experience through projects, internships, coursework, or hands-on technical experience will also be considered.

Foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.

Exposure to relational and cloud databases such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or BigQuery.

Familiarity with Docker and version control systems such as Git.
-
Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
What We Value
-
A strong problem-solving mindset and a willingness to dig into challenging problems.
-
Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
-
A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively with data science and software engineering teams.

The confidence to ask questions and the initiative to find answers.
-
A genuine interest in growing your skills and building a career in data engineering, DevOps, cloud technology, or software engineering.
